Clare was born in Korea and has been living in Hong Kong for almost 8 years. Since a young age, she has been living overseas in cities such as Abu Dhabi and Singapore, where she started gaining interest in languages and culture. Her native languages are English and Korean, but she also has a history of learning Chinese, Spanish, Arabic and French.
Having been exposed to a range of cultures starting from a young age, Clare grew big curiosity towards words, language and cultural differences. She has always had a love for storybooks, with some of her favorite authors being Roald Dahl, Jacqueline Wilson and Dr. Seuss. One of her favorite storybooks is James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl. She has read the novel 12 times, fascinated by the endless possibilities of books.
With several years of experience, Clare has always been passionate about teaching children. She believes every child is special, and can flourish to their full potential with empathy, care and encouragement. She values the relationship she has with each of her students and works towards creating a fun teaching environment for them.
